Was mixed on the concept of having boss stats scale with player count, but after thinking about it, AoA's queue-esque multiplayer-friendly boss system probably makes it more compatible for player boss scaling than almost every other mod. I assume you're able to tell how many players are teleported to an arena. The only other mods I'm aware of that do this are blue skies and Aether 2(?).
The big question is if this is technically possible in the first place. If it isn't, damn. Oh well.
Balance-wise, I think a simple +50% boss HP and +10% damage per extra player would be enough. Don't think it needs to be brutal, as that would just constrain player roles and discourage going in groups. Just something to help bosses not be a cakewalk against an intrinsic aspect of the boss system, and be a fun challenge
