Issue description

In the 2.0.0 Beta 2, Final Fantasy Tactics in PCSX_ReArmed Retroarch core renders text in a garbled/jagged way that makes reading text difficult. The same issue is also present in standalone PCSX_ReArmed on 1.3.3, and also in the "October 2019" standalone build linked in https://github.com/TriForceX/MiyooCFW/wiki/PCSX-ReARMed. I haven't extensively tested other games, but the issue is also present in Star Ocean 2, Tales of Destiny, and Lunar 2, so it doesn't appear to be a game-specific issue.

This issue was not present in 2.0.0 Beta 1 in PCSX_ReAmed on Retroarch, which renders text well:

This is speculation on my part, but the fact that the issue has been present on standalone since 1.3.3 makes me think that there is some issue in the standalone version (maybe some optimization) that may have been included in the Retroarch core on 2.0.0 Beta 2.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Run Final Fantasy Tactics through PCSX_ReArmed Retroarch core in 2.0.0 Beta 2
  2. Start a new game and go to the character name input screen. The rendering issue should be apparent there
