Hello!
I have a PlayGo v2 (running OpenDingux) and this is appropriate for the topic, because it has the exact same limitations for playing videos as playing them on the original PocketGo and Powkiddy Q90. I tested this and it is confirmed.
But for now, let's assume I have a Powkiddy Q90 for this scenario, to stay on topic.
I have about 1.5 TB of cartoons on my WD Passport and I want to compress some of them to fit on the unit to play great. I do have a caveat, which is that some series are long running. Take a [1990s] 24-minute-each 104-episode cartoon for instance. Using the default configuration here:
DIMENSIONS: 320x240
VIDEO: MPEG-4 24fps 1024kbps
AUDIO: AAC 160kbps Stereo
The completed series takes up a whopping 19 GB. I want to compress it down even further.
What is the best and optimal configuration I should use, assuming I don't care about how bad the quality is, but is at least transcribe-able?
I have this for a test (let me know if this is the most optimal):
DIMENSIONS: 320x240
FILTERS: Deblock Medium Medium (8x8)
VIDEO: MPEG-2 15fps 725kbps
AUDIO: AAC 64kbps
