Hello, FBA and FBA-A320 (Finalburn emu from 1.3.3) doesn't work at all on cfw 2.0

Yes, I noticed that as well so using MAME4ALL which does work, or use the arcade cores from Retroarch. I'm not too keen on Retroarch myself regarding ease of use and performance.
I'm like you and would rather use FBA, but alas :(

The latest FBA version works for me (that is if you use uClibc - compatible version!). Tried "The Punisher" for a brief.

It may be that your binaries doesn't have exec permission. Try this package: https://github.com/Rezzy-dev/fba-miyoo-playable/releases/download/release/fba.ipk - place anywhere in MAIN partition and lanuch with Explorer from GMenu2X.

Thanks @Apaczer, that works!
Roms need to be in main/roms folder for me (I originally named the folder 'roms but the explorer only finds folders without special characters).
I only got snow bros and air gallet to work so far, so presumably my romset is not the correct one.
One thing I like about FBA in particular is that besides the app being faster to load, you can see the progress of the rom loading process, so you know what's going on. With Mame4all, the app seems to get stuck on the splash screen and you don't know what's going on, and likewise when loading a ROM. Pressing reset to get to the menu seems to work reasonably well too, with MAME I tend to have issues (i.e. freezing, or again, don't know what's happening).
