MAME question - How to bypass copyright message at start

I'm running into a problem with MAME, where anytime I start up a rom, I get the standard copyright message and don't know how to get past it on the V90.

"Usage of emulators....Otherwise, type OK to continue"

I know how to turn it off in Retroarch, and I am able to run these roms in retroarch.

Running CFW 1.3.3 on a PowKiddy V.90

Press Left and Right on the D-pad. ;) They're programmed to type "OK" in the Miyoo release of MAME (MAME4All). ^_^

Of course, I tried every control other than the d-pad. I suppose it was probably in the Wiki somewhere and I missed it. Thanks for helping a dense old man, now I can get back to playing some Moon Patrol while I yell at the kids to stay off my lawn.

Hahhaha! Glad to be of help. ;) Moon Patrol (has) rocks, and so does Choplifter (except it doesn't have rocks)! :)

On a completely unrelated, yet strangely related, note; I wonder if the next generation of people living and growing up in the colonies on the Moon and Mars will be sending cringey rock-joke messages/photos and postcards to Earth all the time, like:

"We're rockin' it here!"

"You want rocks? Be my guest! (Literally.)"

"Come rock and roll with me! <3"

Sadly, I think most of the kids of those who grew up in the era of Moon Patrol and it's ilk, are probably too old to want to move to a colony by the time one is established.

I mostly play 8 and 16 bit JRPGs on the v90, and so far in the year that I've had it, I'm almost done my second one. (just two battles remain!)

Perhaps, but here's the good news: taking a holiday trip there may become possible if you stick around long enough. ;) The rate of technology is advancing is on a constant speed-up, and initial private/commercial space flights are already operating. 2021 was the year that space tourism finally became a thing.

In 20 years we'll have personal assistant robots and affordable space flights galore.

So maybe it won't be practical to move there, but certainly possible to visit it. You will be the first human generation to have seen the far future become reality during your lifetimes -- which is both amazing and terrifying. At the rate that technology is advancing, the human body won't be able to keep up! Nature has its own pace, and it's much-much slower.

Ooh! Good choice! Then the SNES and the Game Boy (Color/Advance) are your friends, as well as the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis), which has some little known and unique (J)RPGs.
