Save file wont load bittboy 3.5 GBA

So i just put the new cfw on my bittboy 3.5 and i put in all the roms from the previous cfw and the saves as well. In the previous cfw the save was .sav but in the new on it is .svs so i changed it to .svs but it now freezes the bittboy and i have to shut it down

.svs may not work on newer versions of the GBA emulator, in other hand .sav files can work on it. (the .sav contains the ingame progress, so you have to check ingame)
