Double key map in Chocolate Doom? #181

Edit: I figured it out! The keypress that represents the 'A' key on the Bittboy in the game doom is 29. I checked to see what Doom looks for to advance forward in menus, and it was 29. You guys need to update the chocolate doom so that when it generates a .cfg file, it doesnt have both strafe and fire set to '56'. Instead, strafe should be set to 56, and fire should be set to 29. That way fire is the A button, and strafe is TA, like in Heretic and Hexen. This one's a little puzzling. I got .cfg files to generate for Doom and figured out that both Strafe and Fire are mapped to key 56.
I assumed that the A button, which I want to be 'Fire' must be key 55, so I tried changing it to that, and no dice. I then tried looking into the .cfgs for Hexen and Heretic, and they have totally different key numbers than doom has. In them, Fire is mapped to key 133. I tried that, and still no luck. Any idea what key Fire SHOULD be mapped to in order to have the A button work in doom? |

In Chocolate doom, both sidestep (strafe modifier) and shoot are both mapped to TA, and nothing is mapped to A. There is no page in the game’s menu to edit controls and I can’t find a relevant cfg file.
Edit: I’m using a BittBoy V3, firmware 3.6.
