I don't know if it's the same when you're connecting over the CreeperTelnetClient, FreedomTelnetClient, whateverTelnetClient, but if you try to connect via the usual Linux terminal or MobaXterm it'll disconnect on the first try and then the second time it'll connect successfully. I just started having this issue recently too.

I'm aware that this should be on the BukkitTelnet repository, but that isn't even up-to-date with the server or even by the looks of it updated to the latest Minecraft version.

@robingall2910 Are there any errors in either the server (MC) terminal, or in the client?

I have been unable to replicate this on TF. Can you let me know what server you are having the issue?

@Wild1145 on TF actually.
@JeromSar no errors, it'll just say the connection was closed by the remote host

@robingall2910 Interesting, I wasnt able to replicate myself on TF... Could have been poor timing as a re-start / reload was happning?

@Wild1145 it happens every time you try to connect. If you're trying to disconnect and then reconnect at first quickly, then that's fine. You'll have to eventually wait a while and then you'll see it happen.

Not sure what's causing this yet, but I've observed this behavior. Bug confirmed.

@StevenLawson I've also noticed similar behaviour with the server and logviewer as well where it doesn't connect upon the first join - http://prntscr.com/gd8q5a.

This is obviously something with the server itself.
