How do I mutate DNA? I have an Incubator and the wiki section seems to be very unclear on the actual methodology on how to mutate DNA. If anyone doesn't mind explaining it or sending screenshots on how to do it that'd be amazing

Wich mutated gene do you want to have ?
You have to make a mutate potion
(Cell growth potion + fermented spider eye)
(Cell growth potion = Organic substrate + helix(any))
(Organic substrate = Mundane potion (water bottle + blaze powder) + organic matter(any))

ive been using redstone dust for my mundane potions - cheaper than blaze powder imo, plus i didnt know that worked

and yes its a 6 step process to mutate a cell (not a dna helix)
P{ersonally i make 6 advanced incubators and set all of them to low temp mode (but also edit configs to reduce overall processing time)

• 1: make mundane potion - Redstone Dust + 3 water bottles
• 2: make organic substrate - organic matter + 3 mundane potions
• 3: make potion of cell growth - basic helix (any mod) + 3 organic substrates
• 4: make potion of cell mutation - fermented spider eye + 3 potion of cell mutations
• 5: add mob specific cell - mob specific cell (eg: bat/parrot for flight) + 3 potion of cell mutations
• 6 add "catalyst" - catalyst (eg: feather for flight) + 3 mob specific potion of cell mutations

this will give you a Cell (specific mutation) (eg: Cell (Mutation: Flight) )
process this as normal - repeat until you have completed the gene
