Is this project being maintained?

I am looking into migrate my user preferences from Ionic's storage (That uses IndexedDB) to a native solution. This plugin looks like the perfect solution but there was no update from almost 2 years (besides the README 17 Months ago).

Issues like Ionic Native Storage not working Android 8+ 9+ from DEC 2019 worries me.

There are also two PR open for the same issue but with with more than 6 months of difference.

Is this project being maintained?

Short answer, I have no time for maintaining the project.

However:
Thank you for your interest in the project. I, currently, have difficulties in combining this plugin, work, family (newborn baby) and renovations. That is why I opted for the Github sponsorship, which should provide some incentive --for my girlfriend-- so I could invest more time in these project.
