Banner with Make.md

I'm using make.md which has it's own banner feature.
But when using with the dashboard.css, the text gets pushed down.
I can adjust the "padding-top: 20px !important;" to 0px and the text goes up higher.
But when i try -20px it stays at the same place when i use 0px.
So is there a way to get i higher, beyond 0px?
