I have something I discovered about the Sonic Mania port that might interest you as developers.

In short, the port to the SNES Classic you created (many thanks btw) has a very interesting quirk. In the Mod Hub on Hakchi, It says to "grab Data.rsdk, copy/paste into CLV." But I found out that the game will run if it is in Data Folder Mode (You need to unpack the Data.rsdk using the RSDKv5U Extract tool and then cut/paste the Data folder into CLV as instructed).

In addition to slightly better load times (goes from about 1.5 seconds behind official to around 1 second behind official), this opens up the door for mods, and because you can run the game from Data Folder Mode, anyone can install simple mods (mods that alter character sprites, level layout, etc will do fine), with the most relevant for this being the "No Special Stage Decorations Plus" mod.

In the video one of the devs uploaded about this port, I noted the 3d Special Stage performance not being optimal for such a nearly perfect port (keep in mind, it even blew me away with how well it did, the worst being around 45 fps). Running the game from Data Folder Mode with the No Special Stage Decorations Plus mod I mentioned earlier, the 3d Special Stages are now running very well, with the absolute worst being around 55fps.

One more thing, the controls are a bit wonky (a works as x, b works as b, y works as a, and x works as y).

I just felt that these two points needed to be mentioned.
