  • Usually "fast flight" type strings need to be an inch longer than Dacron because they stretch less.

  • Yugaeri (Turning of the Bow) happens when you shoot Japanese longbow. Upon release, the bow swings inside your palm. This turning effect somehow stops the string from hitting your ears, which this site claims does occasionally happen if held improperly.
