With BIDS pipelines, resource scale dynamically with the amount of data being fed through the pipeline engine. We'd like to implement dynamic resource scaling since needs across subjects/studies for a particular pipeline implicitly depend on the data being loaded. For example:

  • FMRIPREP : Time scales with # of resting state tasks
  • CIFTIFY_FMRIPREP: Time scales with # of resting state tasks
  • FREESURFER : Time scales with number of sessions in bids directory
