I noticed that there is no license on this repo.

Currently most of the work in this organization is licensed under Apache 2.0, and I understand that the current work is described as a draft or thought experiment. However, I would like to kindly suggest that it might benefit from a more permissive license such as MIT or Apache 2.0. Of course, it's entirely fine to continue with the current licensing as well.

Another option to consider is incubating this work within the W3C Nostr Community Group which would be able to reuse an open and royalty free infrastructure.

I have also created a quick, unofficial draft of what a base nostr-did could look like, which you can find here: https://nosd.link/did. This draft is designed in the style of did:key, utilizing a Nostr key and incorporating elements such as SchnorrSignagure2023, along with a suitable linked data vocabulary and context (work in progress).
