This kind of roundabout is really small, I guess there's no need for additional asphalt geometry.
As for markings, do they only have road markings like this in the UK or is it more or less the same in other countries (EU/US)? It might be not a good idea to render it if it's region-specific.

Most countries I've been to in Europe don't have a standard layout, they differ wildly even within towns, but the ones with arrows are more uncommon compared to those without. The sizes differ of the islands differ as well, but I feel a white marking a bit bigger than that UK one would pass almost everywhere. Is it possible for you to add stop lines?
An increasing amount has a raised paved island or an element bolted onto the road due to bad visibility of the painted ones, but since this is not tagged there is no way to differentiate.
I can put you a list of different examples here if you want, but you will probably find more with a quick overpass turbo query (except for the US, they don't seem to know what a roundabout is) or a look on the wiki page of that tag
