In Japan, the description of the moon station states that it originated in ancient China or India.

I don't know who the original author of this SC was. In any case, it describes the situation in Japan. It clearly describes the Lunar Stations as coming from China, so there is nothing to worry about claims of originality. But else the text refers to Japan, and the only reference cites a renown scientist who deals with Japanese culture. The Twenty-Eight Lunar Mansions are of course also included in the Chinese sky culture where as we all know they originate from. I still do not understand why OP so feverishly insists on a rename. This SC has to do with Japan, not with the general concept of eastern Asian Lunar Mansions.

In any case, if the author can be identified, the text can certainly be improved. Who are the many "some scientists" that appear in the text? I am afraid this is one of our legacy entries which has to wait for a better description (about particular Japanese use, not the general Chinese LM in China) best authored by a Japanese historian of astronomy, or another science historian with expertise about Japan.
