Is it possible to disable scrolling when the last slide is reached?

I am currently using splide in a vertical carousel which uses the wheel option.
When you are at the last slide and try to scroll down it will not go down even though there is other content below the slider (this is caused because it is trying to navigate to another slide which is not there because it is the last one).
Is there a fix for this?

Unfortunately, the wheel functionality is very basic, and does not support such behavior currently.
