Add setting timeout as an option

It would be great to be able to set a timeout since a lot of those methods don't work so great. I will take a look at adding a PR this weekend

Cool thanks. Yeah agree that would be a great addition. Also allowing for backup connections to resolvers/registrars is on our future wishlist as we are typically using our own infra instead of publicly hosted infra. I guess the eternal tradeoff between making it nicer and other priorities in other projects 🙂
