Adding a filter on Advanced search causes UI to disappear and reappear

Describe the bug
Adding a filter (any) on the advanced search causes the search popup to flash. The UI window disappears and then reappears. It is possible (under unknown circumstances) that the popup does even come up again. The filter is properly added in this case.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to a table layout
2. Open up the advanced search popup
3. Add a filter
4. You will see the entire popup disappear and reappear.
