I've been scouring and scouring for some sort of fix and I've seen similar issues but unable to find exact images anywhere outside of google image search for the issue I'm having.
Basically I'm trying to boost my fps a litttle bit further and trying sodium (alpha 0.4 for 1.18 switched to 1.18.1) <<rly shldnt expect too much here :D
Mods ive seen that have had the same issuse: Biomes O Plenty, Farmer's Delight
The cross textures of clovers and the farmers delight crops do not render as transparent and I'm hoping that some way some how I might be able to get it to work "properly"
Here is an image of the issue and it goes away if i remove sodium/add optifine instead though i want the 16 core rendering allowed by sodium bc it (at least feels to) raise my fps that extra bit (amd cpu and gpu)...

I'd imagine its a known issue and will be worked on for future but hopefully maybe some compatibility/transparent block texture pack/mod may sort it as vanilla grass works perfectly fine (as shown in image also)

Hello, ive also encounter this bug. Flowers from other mod have those blacky background, for vanilla, its only sugarcane from what ive seen. Integrated dynamics mod become invisible completely and only have outer layer cube border when i hover over it.

If only mods didn't add in their own shader systems then we wouldn't have so many compatibility issues.
