On indefinite hold. I definitely wanna get back to it one day, but I have other priorities for now.

On indefinite hold. I definitely wanna get back to it one day, but I have other priorities for now.

It would be amazing to see every iPhone and iPad running Linux with most hardware features and accessories working, and possibly even Android. That would for sure prevent tons worth of E-Waste from being processed back into heavy metals, with all the other materials left over including the plastic polluting the environment and our health.
It would be neat also seeing miscellaneous Apple silicon devices get the Linux treatment, from the Apple TV models up until and including the 4K, the first three series of the Apple Watch, the T2 chip of a Mac, the first generation HomePod, and the Lightning to HDMI and VGA adapters “Haywire” (which has a rebranded A8 chip, 256mb RAM, but storage provided by the iOS host, which makes this adapter the strangest Apple device that can theoretically boot Linux and play DOOM)
