LuaBackend hangs on Wine 8 #10

This actually only happens when launching LuaBackend through Panacea, renaming it to dinput8.dll makes LuaBackend run fine. I'm going to keep this issue open for now as I don't know if its an issue with LuaBackend or Panacea. For clarity sake I have also opened an issue In the OpenKH github issue tracker which can be found HERE |
Is this still an issue? I've been playing recently on the Steam version using the Wine Master Proton nightly build from proton-tkg which is using Wine 10 (mostly to get the native Wayland driver) and it seems to work fine with Panacea + LuaBackend. |

When using LuaBackend on Linux, loading LuaBackend with Wine7 seems to work without issue, however the game Pauses when using Wine 8. I've only attempted at loading LuaBackend through Panacea, however no mods/scripts are activated.
