Of late, some MLSes have been prepending their traditional listingIds with prefixes as they merge with other systems and want to retain some local autonomy.
IDs that were historically, 123456 have ABC added to them so they're now ABC123456
However agents and local customers still speak to the listingIds being 123456
but when you enter that in a search form, it finds no listings since the proper match is now ABC123456
The ask is to return the proper listings when visitors search with the old syntax and omit the new prefix.
