Auto-PaLM - Project started!

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a project I've been working on, Auto-PaLM.

This has been inspired by Significant Gravitas's amazing Auto-GPT. You can check it out here: https://github.com/ChessScholar/Auto-PaLM/tree/main.

S.G.'s innovation with GPT-4 inspired me to explore the possibilities with AI applications, and I'm eager to see where this will go.

I'm currently going at it solo and would appreciate any support or feedback. Apologies if this seems promotional—it's more about shared interest and the desire to learn from this community. Thank you! :)

1. Which PaLM???
   You mentioned "This is a project inspired by Auto-GPT, using Google's PaLM 2 API." and "Auto-PaLM (Automated Prompts and Learning Memory)" in your project home page at github (https://github.com/ChessScholar/Auto-PaLM)

PaLM stands for "Pathways Language Model.

Please use only one meaning. Please don't piggy back on an internationally known acronym for another. If you use Google's PaLM 2 API, remove the other meaning or rebrand without the word PaLM.

2. Google's PaLM 2
   People need an Auto-GPT like agent using Google's PaLM API.
   Google's PaLM 2 is significantly larger than GPT-3.5 in terms of parameter count. Hopefully, we may see, even larger, PaLM 3 before the end of this year. Hopefully, it too free.

3. License
   Recommend BSD or MIT Licensing. Apache License, Version 2.0 also not bad.

4. Community
   For the community to join for a project similar to Auto-GPT (using Google's PaLM API) and the project to succeed, main man must be able show the face and credentials.

I'm brand new to this, so if I'm making mistakes in anything, all corrections are welcome.

I'll delete the acronym until we can come up with something.

My intension isn't to piggy back, so thank you again for letting me know that's how it came across and I'll fix it.

I will also research your licensing suggestions.

Not exactly sure what "main man must be able to show face and credentials" means. I can post my photo if that's required. I don't have any programming credentials at all. This is strictly a hobby.

Again, I took nothing personally and will continue to work on making sure I'm not mispresenting anything and following the agreed respect and guidelines.
