One half of the equation, communication with Raymarine autopilots, is implemented in @signalk/signalk-autopilot plugin. Can't vouch for EV-200 support, the code refers specifically to EV-1. I am not aware of existing SK work on Garmin autopilots. |

Hi, I have been able to connect the autopilot app, to control the AP. Still think it would be nice to also be able to use the Garmin GPSMAP touch panel, to control the AP. (I have the P70 control one one side and the Plotter on the other side). I am not 100 % sure but I think I had it working earlier, when I had an old tiller-pilot Autohelm2000, with a NMEA0183 to Seatalk converter. This pilot was broken due to physical damage. |

I have an Raymarine EV200 SeatalK Autopilot (AP), and a Garmin GPSMAP 9x2 plotter, which works together in the sense that if I have a navigation route active in the Garmin plotter the Raymarine AP can follow the route. But the Garmin plotter do not let me engage functionality in the plotter to control the Raymarine AP (Standby, Auto, +1 degree - 1 degree....). My question/issue is related to "signal-k" application on raspberry pi. The raspberry pi is connected to the NEA2000 (N2K) network. My wish is that I would like to know if anyone has made signal-k plugin, that reads NMEA 2000 sentences from Raymarie AP, and convert them in a way that the Garmin plotter "think" it talks to a Garmin AP. And by this the control functionality is active.
I am willing to learn to develop maybe a delta or something, but would like to know where to start.
