VCRUNTIME140.dll not found and other errors during install

Hi,
I got an error message during a Windows install of signalK server 2.8.2 on my new laptop. The laptop runs Windows 11 and is clean. Very little other software and no older SignalK installs.
The error is in dutch, it says something like: code execution cannot be continued bacause VCRUNTIME140.dll is not found.
Apparently this file is called from openssl.exe.
I ran install twice as a rerun was adviced by the error message.

Anyone aware of this error? Any workarounds?

signalk-server-windows installer 1.1.0 has not yet been tested with Windows 11
Can you show the real error message even if it is displayed in German?

The VCRUNTIME140.dll library is not included in the SignalK installer.

I can reproduce the problem on Windows 10 when I uninstall "Redistributable Microsoft Visual C++".

You should be able to fix the problem by installing it from this link from Microsoft:
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe

I'm going to add in a new installer release, a check that this library is present before installing Signal K.
