Apart from Dashboards, better support for GitOps is the other point.
Then Grafana also has an operator where the dashboards can be deployed in a GitOps manner through k8s manifests, which is another added benefit. I can spin up the entire monitoring stack using GitOps and as soon as I log in I have all dashboards up and running without lifting a finger.
