note://There is a constant pipeline of adding more and more network partners to the mediation stack.

Pollfish internal mediation algorithm optimizes to distribute the best converting and the most high paid surveys to users.

Mediation Settings

Publishers can log in to their Pollfish Dashboard and enable or disable any survey provider that they do not like through their apps without the need for any changes in code. Mediation settings are applied per app.

Publishers can also change through their Dashboard per mediation network the following settings:

  • Maximum Length Of Interview (LOI) - Publishers can set the maximum amount of time (in minutes) a survey should take.
  • Minimum Incidence Rate (IR) - Publisher can set the minimum IR of accepted surveys. IR is calculated as a percentage of successful completes over the total surveys served.
  • Desktop Vs Mobile Surveys (when available) - Publishers can enable and allow surveys that are not mobile optimized (ideal for websites)

Mediation Revenue & Performance

Publishers can log in to their Pollfish Dashboard and review their revenue and performance reports per mediation network.

Mediation Router

Mediation Router automatically looks for a new survey when a user gets screened out. Publishers can enable or disable the router.

Publishers have also the ability to select from their app's settings the number of times a user should be allowed to get a new survey opportunity, if got screened out while trying to complete a survey.

Mediation Networks

Below you can see a list of the survey providers providing surveys on Pollfish Mediation platform.

Pollfish Surveys are provided by Pollfish clients and are generated through Pollfish DIY survey tool. There are two types of Pollfish Surveys: Basic Surveys and Playful Surveys. Pollfish Surveys have a unique interactive experience designed around mobile and are enabled by default on the platform. They have a premium position on Pollfish mediation stack.

  • Basic Surveys are usually surveys with 8-12 questions and pay minimum $0.30 per completed survey. This price can go up to several dollars depending on how much Pollfish clients are charged.

  • Playful Surveys are small one-pager image question surveys (3-4 questions) that have a fluctuating price. On average they pay around $0.11 per completed survey. The interesting thing with this survey format is that when a user answers a question he can see what other people answered. A lot of people answer questions just to see what other people said and this increases conversion rates and eventually, the money a publisher makes.

Other Providers

Surveys from different survey providers can be found on Pollfish mediation stack. All those surveys are rendered within the apps for the SDK integrations of Pollfish, while for web plugin and API integrations they are rendered outside of the app in a browser. There is full transparency to the respondents on the survey provider of each survey.

Surveys from mediation providers pay minimum $0.30 per completed survey and the payouts can end up to $3-$4 per completed survey.

Pollfish 3rd party surveys are surveys programmed on other survey platforms (with an experience different than Pollfish native experience) which are provided by Pollfish clients.
