Does css3-mediaqueries work with print media queries?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use @media print in css file.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the styling when the page is printed in ie8.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version.

Please provide any additional information below.
I managed to get css3-mediaqueries to work with @media screen, but cannot get 
it to work with @media print. I was wondering if it was supposed to work with 
@media print.
