A recent blog by [Pini Reznik](https://blog.re-cinq.com/posts/enviromental-cost-of-agile/) discusses the environmental impact of Agile software development, highlighting how its emphasis on speed and adaptability often leads to resource waste, particularly in cloud computing. Essentially, we have a tendency to want to ship as early as possible without optimising the product. This leads to requiring more hardware resources to run and thus higher running costs and carbon emissions.
