Describe the solution you'd like
Add a "social network" aspect to the application. This feature will allow students to plan their degree together with their peers, see what courses each student is taking and plan accordingly. Possibly add the option of adding friends or follow other students, comment on other student plans (with suggetions, adding or removing courses).

Describe alternatives you've considered
As for now, there is no alternative solution, except directly asking friends about their plan.
