Screenshare button gets stuck behind SEB #453
Comments
I can confirm that this happens on previous versions of the SEB (3.3.3, 3.3.0, 3.2.5) also when running on Sequoia. |
Looks like Apple changed the UI displayed when doing screen sharing in Sequoia, it works well in Sonoma. You could try to use the AAC Assessment Mode (see Settings/Security) if there the buttons are displayed correctly. SEB in its default lockdown/kiosk mode has to move its windows to a more frontmost level, looks like macOS Sequoia displays these buttons on a lower windows level. |
Thanks, I'll give it a try and let you know! |
@danschlet @lopezbertoni I gave this a try and when enabling AAC, the screenshare button did not display at all. It seemed to only show up once i closed the SEB. AAC.Mode.mp4 |
Looks like that was a bug in macOS 15.0.x. It doesn't happen for me in macOS 15.1 anymore, the whole screen content is shifted down a bit so the button is always visible, also in SEB. |
With the latest release of Mac OS, the screenshare button seems to be get stuck behind the SEB, and the only way to click on the button is to drag the SEB down. I've attached the log file, pic and video to show the issue.
