Platform

Our project will be a an Android app to assist in running a TTRPG campaign. We intend to develop the app using Java and/or Kotlin and the Android SDK through Android Studio.

Database access will be provided by either this API or this website.

To maintain app data, we'll use Firebase as storage for data.

Concept

The overall concept is an assistant/companion app for game masters of Dungeons and Dragons games. In essence, the app will be a place for a GM to collect information about their campaign(s). Things like tracking player initiative and combat order for monsters and enemies, catalogues for enemies and equipment, a place to store maps and a random name generator for NPC names.
