I've found a "Deprecation notice" and a suggestion to use a maintained library, eg: https://github.com/firebase/php-jwt

do you plan to change the dependency?

I came to post this issue as well - it is now April 2024, and this dependency has not been updated. Is TinCanPHP abandoned?
