Running BRAT in ArcPro #314

The PyBRAT version you are trying to run only works in ArcGIS 10.x and we have no plans to make that work for ArcPro. So all you are doing wrong is not following the dependencies described here. Many users have successfully run pyBRAT, but it is fiddly, flaky ArcPy scripts. Hence its "operational grade report card". So to run this version, you need to find a copy of ArcGIS 10.4 or later. We have a newer version (sqlBRAT), but it is a production grade tool that is not geared at running in GIS. We developed this as most users just want the outputs of BRAT, and we did this so we could economically provide that. We don't have funding to make this into an easy to run in GIS tool, but we hope to allow command line users to run it in the future. Colorado Natural Heritage already ran BRAT (from CSU) for Colorado and it appears in Scamardo et al. (2021). |
