How to Reproduce

Sign-up as a student and fill out information and submit

What is the current behavior? (Include which device (Android/iOS).)**

After sign-up the screen goes back to the login page instead of logging in directly

What is the expected behavior?

After signing up you shouldn't have to login

This is possibly due to the network error issue specified in #209
