After imaging a machine with the ssg-rhel-7.7.iso, I am unable to use the mouse and keyboard at the login screen. Is this because the script disabled them?

The usbguard package can cause that problem - you'd need to whitelist them.

Can we improve the defaults so this is more friendly?

I'm pretty sure I made it an option in the install script - I'll check again this weekend...
