With Dr. Raston we discussed future feature requests:

• Rename Generate... text with Collect
• Reorder background and processed buttons
• Move user to instrument window after pressing background and processed buttons
• Label components of Instrument window

For today (05/25/2023):

• Started merge of upstream and my personal fork with the new Redux changes
  • Still need to verify that Vacuum/Air is working
• Started a new FTIR Spectrometer branch with:
  • checkParams put into its own file outside of Fetch
  • Removed unused code from Redux merge
  • Refactored features directory to remove subdirectories
  • Fixed issue with new Redux where changing the wavenumber after generating a graph, modified the graph
  • Changed Generate text to Collect and reordered buttons
• Started updating project taskboard
  • Still needs to be caught up for Winter, caught up for work so far this summer

For 5/25/23:

• More find peaks progress!
• The python server is now sending back a dictionary: keys are peaks and values are intensity/y value
• Added a very basic popup that displays the data that was generated
• Only new issue is that the code for the popup must be commented out whenever an AbsorbancePlotly is attempting to render before the user clicks Find Peaks for the first time
  • Pretty big issue considering the button to find peaks is a part of the AbsorbancePlotly element
  • However, I was able to maneuver the code in order to make sure that the data does display once it is generated
  • This is also only an issue when the peaks data in the store is null
