I'm currently contemplating designing an open source and printable iron that can take C245 or C210 tips, that is also compatible with IronOS (along with a few 3D printer filament joining projects, that could utilise IronOS)
Would there be any interest in such a thing being designed?
I know the Pinecil V2 is pretty good. But the TS100 tips are pretty limited compared to a C210.
With the correct PWM, or a Buck regulator I'm pretty sure it would be a great little device
On a side note, has anyone added a Boost regulator into an iron to get to its intended 24V rating?
