Hello everyone,
Just a discussion to inform you that I recently have bought the TS80P and the MHP30 (I have already a great TS100 which I love, with the Ralim FW - only missing the contrast setting as I previously hoped to have in it).
Before buying the TS80P, I use a great Fujitsu 16V/3.75V powersupply from a laptop at home, and my 3S/1500 Panther Graphen Lipo when I need it in portable mode with a jack/XT60 I have made with big cable.
Here is what I would like to tell you:
=>I have tested the TS80P with my Siglent lab powersupply without any problem.
And I use the MHP30 only on my powerlab, it is easier for me because all is on my table, no need to plug the USB-c power supply I have had with it.
So no really need to use USB-C PD or other USB powersupply.
Both of them work very well with a USB-C cable, I have plugged with very good alligator plug.
So they can be use with any voltage until 12V for the TS80P, and 20V for the MHP30.
I use actually 7V for the TS80P and 12V for MHP30, no need more for my use.
I have also done a voltage calibration for the TS80P: there was about +0,15V vs my calibrate siglent powersupply.
I have ordered a Xiaomi Powerbank 3/10000mAh only for the TS80P for taking it with me, and let my TS100 at home.
Also, no problem using my Graphen 3S Lipo on the MHP30, and another (little 950mAh) Graphen Panther 2S Lipo I have on the TS80P.
I have not tried the 3S on the TS80P, as when it is fully charge, it is about 12,60V (4,2V/cell).
Hope you find this useful :)
Here are some photos, you will see also that the (genuine) RD Tech Meter (from RD official store) are really super well calibrate and really cheap :)
(show 5.000V on the 3rd siglent channel which is a fix output).
