Map extents do not scale on window resize appropriately.

The current strategy for placing the various elements around the page does not work well when smallish windows are loaded, and does not scale well when the window is resized. For example, below Guam is not visible, Puerto Rico is cut off, as with the main US map.

It's possible that for different media sizes different map centers and different map scales may need to be used, though this can get messy fast...
