Upgrading Chart.js

Do we want to consider upgrade to chartjs 2.0 or change to a different library?
As mentioned in #149 and #120, there are several issues that would be fixed by ugrading. I'd be willing to spearhead the switch (in a new repo branch...)

I would say yes to trying to update chartjs 2.0 if its going to fix bugs that we are currently experiencing and know that they can be fixed by the update.
