3. Pattern consideration
   • Generating citations from provenance
     • what do we want to say here, if anything
       • we think that citation is an important provenance-related area worthy of this WG's great attention
       • many of our potential users are interested in this
       • suggested direction:
         • a piece on a general theory of provenance/citation
           • this could be either a conference or journal article
         • coupling citation & pingback in the long term?
   • Describing activities' actions
     • what do members think of the direction of this PROV formulation: http://patterns.promsns.org/pattern/13
       • DD will look into the pattern
4. General Business
   • next meeting details, inc. Christmas period planning
     • NC won't be available for the Nov 21 meeting, DD will be
     • NC will be available Dec 6 & 20. & Jan 3
