Actions to update dependencies

Is it possible to make an action that creates a PR to update the gradle to the latest version? (Main priority)

Is it also possible to maybe also try to update the dependencies (ie qsl, qfapi, mappings, loader). How should this action be done? Could it potentially also make new branches?

I found this: https://github.com/marketplace/actions/update-gradle-wrapper-action, which might work. I don't think github has a way to mark files as not part of the template though. Would we want to put this in the current repo, or would it be better to have a template-mod-actions repository that handles the automatic updates.
