HDF5 cannot open example input file #9

I am unable to run miniAFQMC on NERSC Edison using the example input file: "../example/N32_M64/afqmc.h5". I used the "hdf5-parallel/1.9.234" module to build miniAFQMC. The error message is "Fatal Error. Aborting at Error: problems opening hdf5 file". I also faced the same issue on my laptop (running Debian and HDF5 1.10.4), please assist.
