redditDownloader

Downloads your saved reddit posts automatically

setup

  1. create a reddit application here https://ssl.reddit.com/prefs/apps/ create an app script

  2. Copy config.example.json to config.json

  3. Fill out the missing fields with the ones you got from the bot you created.

  4. Run npm i

  5. Run node .

  6. (Optional) if you want a GUI to look at your posts head to https://GitHub.com/Proxtx/redditDownloaderGUI

modes

if you want to download a subreddit instead of your saved posts change mode field in config.json to "subreddit" and change the subreddit field to the desired subreddit. The subreddit name without the r/
