I use Thunderbird. I just completed the full setup today, I am fully able to receive emails without any problem, however when I tried to send an email to myself I get this response.

I followed the setup 100%. I removed my account and re-added it two times and then rebooted.

Expected Behavior

Email should be sent successfully.

Current Behavior

I get

Sending of the message failed.
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Error: no such user. Please check the message and try again.

Possible Solution

I think there is something wrong with my SMTP server, I might try hydroxide tomorrow.

Steps to Reproduce

This is what I did:

  1. Download Proton Bridge & follow instructions to add it to Thunderbird
  2. Send an email to myself

Version Information

v3.14.0

Context (Environment)

I am fully able to receive emails without any issue but I am unable to send any.
