Typeface of units

Dear all, I really like Calcpad.

Is there a way to adjust the typeface of units to roman (currently italic) according to
https://physics.nist.gov/cuu/pdf/typefaces.pdf

On a side note, functions shouldn't be bold according to https://www.ams.org/publications/authors/AMS-StyleGuide-online.pdf

Hi, @pschaich!

Thank you for your feedback! The output is rendered in Html so that you can change literally everything. All settings are specified in the template.html, located in the program folder of Calcpad, e.g.: c:\Program Files\Calcpad\template.html.

CSS is used for that purpose. To change these settings permanently for all worksheets on your computer, add the following line in the <style> section in template.html:
b, i { font-style: normal; }

The other option is to change it for a single worksheet only. Then add the following line on the top:
'<style>b, i { font-style: normal; }</style>

To make other text in the worksheet bold or italic use these tags like in the "Insert/Html" menu:

'<strong>bold</strong>
'<em>itlalic</em>

Thanks, looks better, but I think that adjusting the tag to non italic is a bit fishy.
Word Export still delivers italic. Units should transfer to Word/MathType as "Text", otherwise the unit letters look like variables.

Units should have their own style.

(sorry for nagging, just want to help to improve. this fantastic tool.)

Yes, you are perfectly right.

I forgot that setting the CSS does not affect the MathType output.
Probably we should think about some more general approach allowing the user to set the preferred style in an appropriate dialog and make it reflect everywhere in the output.
