To add here: it'd also be great for any values less than 1% to show "<1%" instead of rounding to 0%

I'd suggest a smaller tolerance than 1%

But we don't display decimals for anything above 1% currently, do we? Would that also be desirable?

And at the bottom end, would we want to say "<0.1%"? Or completely ignore the bottom?
